"Oslo Should Change its Name to Medina"
We Norwegians initiated the Oslo "Peace" Process, gave Yassir Arafat the Nobel Peace Prize, donated millions of dollars to the Palestinian Authority so Arafat's wife can buy Gucci purses for 100.000 dollars in Paris every month. And this is the thanks we get? Why, why? They could be right, as Oslo could have a Muslim majority within a generation if current demographic trends continue:Islamic Radicals Plan World Revolution from Temple Mount
Hizab Altahrir’s network spans most Western European countries. The party has targeted Europe, specifically Denmark, for spreading its revolutionary ideology, and providing a springboard for renewing Islamic conquests in Europe. A senior party activist in Jerusalem, Sheikh Issam Amira, expressed this philosophy in a recent speech which he made on the Temple Mount: “Listeners! The Moslems in Denmark make up three percent [of the population], yet constitute a threat to the future of the Danish kingdom. It’s no surprise that in Bitrab (the ancient name of Medina, a city in Arabia to which Mohammed immigrated) they were fewer than three percent of the general population, but succeeded changing the regime in Bitrab.
“It’s no surprise that our brothers in Denmark have succeeded in bringing Islam to every home in that country. Allah will grant us victory in their land to establish the [Islamic] revolution in Denmark.” After Denmark, the Sheikh said, the party will carry the revolution to Oslo and change its name to Medina. “They will fight against their Scandinavian neighbors in order to bring the country into the territory of the revolution,” he said. “In the next stage, they will fight a holy jihad to spread Islam to the rest of Europe, until it spreads to the original city of Medina where the two cities will unite under the Islamic flag.”

Interesting , Fjiordman...
Mohammed began his `career' by killing and enslaving the Jewish of Medina. They had taken him in after the Hejira, when he was forced to leave Mecca.
The Jews of Medina were very prosperous, and were willing to allow Mo to stay, but had no interest in anointing him as their `prophet'. So Mo go tin touch with his Quaraysh contacts back in Mecca and secured their aid in raising an army to sack Medina...which he did in a particularly ruthless fashion.
Instead of giving the Quaraysh the share of the loot he had promised them. Mohammed kept it for himself and used it to maintain his army and conquer the rest of Arabia and elsewhere.
(aside from the Hadith, you can find the story in Max Dimont's `Jews, God and History')
Perhaps the good Imam, being aware of this history, sees Oslo as a launching point for jihad in Northern Europe.
Muslims already have several launching points for Jihad here. In northern Europe it's called "Malmø."
“We are at the gates of the Islamic revolution,” he proclaimed in one of his sermons to Arab citizens of Israel. “The global forces of evil will be eliminated from the world and the Islamic nation will remain in place in order to bring about the world Islamic revolution, with its capital, Jerusalem.”

My (printable) response to this moron is, "when pigs fly!"
I wonder how your pacifist friend Bjorn would explain this one. I'm sure it's just a "cultural misunderstanding" on our part. The problem is, they want to eliminate all cultures but their own.
There it is. Straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. What about this little speech does the main stream media not understand?
Nordic, do you have the equipment oiled up and are you proficient in its use?
Over my dead body!
How absolutely delightful it is to read:
“It’s no surprise that our brothers in Denmark have succeeded in bringing Islam to every home in that country. Allah will grant us victory in their land to establish the [Islamic] revolution in Denmark.”
along with your following comments. I really don't know what to say except that at some point in time it looks absolutely impossible to avoid an unimaginably horrible and deadly conflict.
Years ago, probably in the neighborhood of 40 or so, I spent several months in a semi-private hospital room along with another patient recovering from injuries. During that time and later, during and in the many years of our friendship, I learned that his older brother was the planner and leader for the Norwegian group which led the operation to destroy the German's heavy-water facilities. It was an absolute honor to read and see the some of the documents, pictures and other items he and his family had kept of their activities which spanned a period from before the war had begun, to a few years after the Germans defeat.
Along those lines, I've got to ask the question, 'Are some people, at the very minimum, beginning to recognize that there 'may be' even a slight possibility of conflict and organizing, planning accordingly; or, for the most part, is everyone so dismissive of the possibility, if 'things' flew apart the tragedy would be compounded?
