Another Arson Attack on Malmö Mosque

Another arson attack on the mosque in Malmö, just a month after the previous one. Will we see more retaliatory attacks, as Sweden's third largest city continues its spiral into religious clashes?

Arson attack on Malmö mosque

The mosque in Malmö was the target of a new arson attack just before midnight on Friday. Several minor fires were started in the main building, but these were put out quickly by the emergency services after passers-by had spotted smoke coming out of the building. One man was taken to hospital suffering from mild smoke injuries. The man was staying in the mosque temporarily for the Ramadan period and was sleeping in the building when the fire began. Someone had broken into the building after smashing a window at the back. "There were a small number of fires which we put out in the premises," said Swen Krook, the duty fire officer. The indications are that the fires were not accidental. Swen Krook said that there was some small-scale damage. "It's mostly smoke and soot damage," he said. Malmö police were on the scene by 1.30am and decided to begin immediately the technical investigation at the Mosque. "This has the highest priority. It's the same method as in September so we suspect that it could be the same perpetrator," said Lars-Olof Anderberg at Skåne police to TT. The attack is the second in less than five weeks. In the early hours of September 18th someone threw in a bottle containing flammable liquid, breaking on of the mosque's windows. On that occasion the resulting fire was also doused before it could cause serious damage. But in an arson attack in 2003 the mosque was damaged and other buildings at the Islamic centre were totally destroyed.

Regrettable. The government should have taken a stronger hand to control Muslim immigration and the acknowleged takeover of a city. You have informed us that Malmo is now a no-go zone for police and other services. Apparently indigenous Norwegians object to such a turn of events...

On another note. Although I often read your blog, this is my first comment. I have heard that you are considering leaving the blogsphere. Please don't. We rely on your excellent and thorough reporting and analysis of events.

Ooops. What was I thinking. Malmo is in Sweden, not Norway, and you, Jjordman are a proud Swede.

I can't say that it bothers me to see a mosque burn. unless it is comitted by muslims to get insurance money.

Islam is the root of the problem, so burning mosques and korans does not bother me one bit. It is better than attacking muslims. Like I said before, with Sweden's complacency and the government's failure ot even acknowledge an immigrant problem, It's no wonder swedes are taking matters into their own hands. They should burn all the mosques and korans in europe. Maybe then the muslims will realize that they can and will be targeted if they continue their disgusting displaysin western lands.

Fjordman, don't leave the blogosphere. Your words need to be heard.

Eye of Oden: Burning things is not the idea behind this blog. I want people to READ the Koran, which is why I have put up links to it. Those who burn books today usually burn people tomorrow.

What I don't understand is how the Swedish government can just look at this, without doing anything about it. We're talking about the country's third largest city, which is now trapped in a spiral of attacks and counterattacks.

It is so hard to put Malmo, Sweden in perspective. It's Beirut 1980s on the brink? And the Swede elites, they should be ashamed. But the public voted for them and, I assume, their policies. Is there any anti-immigration party of any substance in Sweden? I have believed the pivotal Muslim uprising that would rip away the veils of political correctness and mulitculturalism would start in Paris, but it may be Malmo.

Fjordman, I have read the koran. I have seen the lies and opression within its covers. I understand the threat.

It's illegal to be a nazi and have nazi literature in almost every western country right? What differentiates islam?

To solve this problem is easy. First, outlaw the koran, destroy all mosques within a country, and outlaw islam as nazism is outlawed. Those failing to comply will be jailed or deported. Those muslims caught gang raping non muslim women should face the death penalty.

Make hate crime laws EQUAL. such as when a white is beaten up by non whites, make the punishment as severe as when whites gang up on a black.

Does this sound drastic? hell yeah. But islam has to be seen for what it is, and outlawed accordingly. The countless victims of gang rapes, violent assaults and murder do not deserve to die because of being politically correct.

To end this nightmare we have to FIGHT back. not talk back or appease back.

Look at the big fuck-up that happened when we allowed hitler to get too strong. 54 million dead. When the islam vs. the west conflict fully erupts, the death toll will be much higher, and the path we're on shows it to be 100% inevitable.

So, do we get tough now, outlaw a barbaric religion and hurt a few feelings, or do we wait until we are FORCED into bloody battle for our very existence?

Our governments cannot be trusted to do the right thing. People's complete apathy in their governments further drives them to take action and correct the problems themselves. we are already seeing this in action.

Fjordman,
Don't you dare leave the blogosphere. Too many folks have left. You do a good service.

Just an engineering note, is it me or does it look like that mineret is about to fall on the Mosque. The leaning tower of Malmo.

And in a post I did awhile, I threw in Malmo as the first city to go the direction that many will in Europe by 2050. Interesting. Things start small. Wait for it, but before the end of this decade, some monarch in Europe is going to be killed, or a member of the immediate royal family killed by Islamists. The IRA did it with Mountbatten. Either that, or an attack on a parliament. It isn't that hard.

Then watch the reaction.

May be there are half a dozen decent people in Sweden, but they miss their target, they should not attack inmigrants nor moslems, the problems lies inside our own societies, leftists are the real problem.

Is it possible, Fjordman, that these fires may have been set by muslims? In the US, we had a number of black church burnings in the early 1990s, and while one or two were actually based on race hatred, the others were done by blacks - either as attention getting, or copycats. It smells like Reichstag to me....(Please don't ever leave the blogosphere...you are a lonely voice crying out to the world, I know, but when Allah and Steve Vincent left the world of blogging, their absence left an unfillable void.
