The Future of Fjordman Blog
I posted earlier that I will probably quit blogging soon. I got some emails from Aaron from the Internet Haganah, Baron and Dymphna from the Gates of Vienna and others, wondering whether I was ok. I'm fine, I'm not ill and I don't have Al-Qaida outside my door. There are strictly private and personal reasons why I can't continue blogging the way I am doing right now. First of all, I'm a little bit tired, but most importantly, there are family related issues which I won't explain in detail. I will definitely be completely gone for a rather long time. Maybe I will return some day, but I don't know that for sure.I will try to continue blogging for the rest of November, or at least as long as possible, so don't stop visiting when you read this :-)

I can understand your POV though. I am having a very tough time to come up with good posts on a regular basis and actually it's bad for both my professional AND my family life.
Well, a man's got to to what he's got to do. But IF you are indeed gonna stop, it will be a huge loss for our Euro Rightwing Front.

Unlike the Baron, I may not cling to your leg as you attempt to close the door, I do think I shall go to my room and tear up a bit...this is sad.

I hope your adieu is for happy reasons. It is trite to say you will be sorely missed. As Michael noted, it will be a huge loss.
That's bad news, even though your decision is fully understandable.
This amount and kind of quality writing takes time and effort and you must have made substantial sacrifices in your life off line.
I sincerely hope you'll be back in one way or the other.

Your blog is one of the best, and will be sorely missed, especially among those with a Scandinavian heritage. As important as your blog is, your family is more important.
