Iran Nuclear Race Reaches Point of No Return

Iran Nuclear Race Reaches Point of No Return

The Iranian nuclear arms race has reached a point of no return, stated the head of Israeli intelligence, Gen. Ze’evi Farkash, at a meeting of the Knesset Committee for Foreign Affairs and Defense. He believes that the current diplomatic window that would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear arms is soon to close, even within a few weeks. Gen. Farkash stated that diplomatic moves against a nuclear bomb in Iran were reaching a point of no return in terms of the Iranian nuclear arms race. Farkash added that the Iranians had improved their technique of preparing centrifuges to a very advanced level, which is of some concern to the Israeli defense and diplomatic echelons. Members of the committee expressed their concern due to the western countries’ inability to stem Iran’s race toward nuclear arms.

Iran president had ‘religious vision’ during UN speech

A leading website in Iran has published a transcript and video recording of President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad claiming to have felt “a light” while addressing world leaders at the United Nations in New York in September. Baztab.com – a website linked to Mohsen Rezaei, former commander of the Revolutionary Guards – said the recording was made in a meeting between the president and Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi-Amoli, one of Iran’s leading Shia Muslim clerics. According to the transcript, Mr Ahmadi-Nejad said someone present at the UN, possibly from his entourage, subsequently told him: “When you began with the words ‘In the name of God’… I saw a light coming, surrounding you and protecting you to the end [of the speech].” Mr Ahmadi-Nejad said he sensed a similar presence. “I felt it myself, too, that suddenly the atmosphere changed and for 27-28 minutes the leaders could not blink,” the transcript continues. “I am not exaggerating…because I was looking. All the leaders were puzzled, as if a hand held them and made them sit. They had their eyes and ears open for the message from the Islamic Republic.”

Iran's new president glorifies martyrdom, says that Islam will conquer the world

A nation with martyrdom knows no captivity. Those who wish to undermine this principle undermine the foundations of our independence and national security. "The message of the [Islamic] Revolution is global, and is not restricted to a specific place or time. It is a human message, and it will move forward. "Have no doubt... Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world."

Iran's New President: “The wave of the Islamic revolution will soon reach the entire world”

IRAN’S ultra-conservative President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, threw down a challenge to the West yesterday by declaring that his election victory marked the dawn of a new Islamic revolution that would spread around the world.
