The Norwegian King - an Infidel Pig at Heart?

All well after new operation

Norway's King Harald was back on the operating table on Sunday after complications arose from a recent heart operation. The king's personal physician said that it was a common procedure and that the king is doing well. Just before Easter the king underwent surgery to replace a damaged valve with a biological heart valve, as well as a bypass to replace a clogged artery.

The hospital has refused to reveal which animal was the donor for the biological heart valve. However, as FOMI News points out, the organic donors are usually pigs. If that is the case, the Norwegian King is now part pig. Although this may seem amusing, it could in theory create problems regarding Muslims in Norway. How should Muslims respond to a king that is an infidel pig at heart?

With all due respect to the 'muslims' in your country, Ayatolla Sistani has rendered an interpretation that allows pigs hearts to be transplanted if no other replacements exist.

I heard rumors about that. Still, he's a Shia Muslim. Do you know about anything similar from Sunnis?

I'm sure this Sistani guy is even more backwards than the pope or fanatical rightwing american christians, but I can't help thinking that he may be the exact kind of guy Islam needs right now. Someone who enjoys a lot of respect but still who value human lives and to some extent, reason (!). I hope he can influence Iraq in a positive direction.

I cracked up laughing. The comments were copied over and sent out to my friends. We all need a little humor in this business.
