Good Luck to DP111

British poster DP111, who posts both here at Fjordman, at LittleGreenFootballs, Jihad Watch, Gates of Vienna and other blogs, has announced that he will soon retire from writing about Islam, and move on to other subjects. I just want to wish him the best of luck, and hope he enjoys many more visits to Rome. He has written some of the best comments about Islam I have seen anywhere, and he will be missed.

I do hope he doesn't mind me using some of his writings, though.

Too many losses (diplomad, chrenkoff, and now DP111) . . .far too soon. :(

Wishing DP111 the very best.

Sorry to see that DPIII has decided not to continue his commentary. Perhaps the recent Racial and Religious Hate Bill and other pending legislation is chilling speech in Britain as such legislation has done in Australia and Canada. I'm sure that Muslims all over the world are sending messages of congratulations as we speak.

Thank you for your kind words. No threats yet or fear of the Racial and Religious etc Bill. Its just that I have spent a very long time in trying to spread the message of the danger that islam poses for civilisation.

With each passing day after 9/11, the world is getting to know the reality of islam. I find that there is now little that I can contribute that is original. It is comforting to know that, as it will not be for want of knowledge about islam, that civilisation succombs.

Time to move on and learn about this beautiful civilisation that humans have constructed. To read once again the great works of literature, to listen to Verdi, and think of family and friends, all of which I had neglected - all for an ideology that does not merit a passing thought but for the danger it poses.

I shall be here for a few more days then hang up my boots.

Special thank you to Fjordman, who has proved to be a skilled blogmaster. The time and energy he has devoted in compiling, editing and posting the articles, has been a labour of love. No one can ask more from one individual.
It has been educational and fun, discussing issues with you Fjordman, even though we live in dire times.
